Twelve Views of Sugarloaf Calendars

A series of watercolours inspired by the Japanese masters and their depictions of Mount Fuji.

As I drove from Dublin to Enniskerry in Wicklow every day to work in my studio, I couldn’t help but notice the beautiful Sugarloaf mountain as I drove through the Scalp. I thought of it as our little Mount Fuji. The Japanese depicted the mountain as part of scenes of contemporary life, always innovating with composition and colour. They also wrote on their images. This is my little homage to them and to the Sugarloaf mountain. Please click on the link below to order your calendar.

The calendars have sold out! Beautiful signed and numbered limited edition prints of each of the images are available. Please contact Mags at if you’d like to order (size A3)
